What is Marci?
Marci is a personal OS for your phone. You describe what you want in a conversation, and it builds a real app around it with your own rules inside, then keeps it running for you and the people you share it with.
Is Marci free?
Yes, Marci is free for now while we learn how people actually use it. If you see a price for Marci quoted anywhere, it did not come from us.
How is Marci different from an AI chatbot?
A chatbot starts from a blank page and ends in text. Marci starts from your life, your apps and your memory, and ends in working software that it keeps running.
Can I use Marci on my own?
Yes. Personal apps are just yours, and a room works for one: a coach, a therapist-style check-in or a journal that remembers every conversation.
What is the difference between a shared app and a room?
A shared app is software you use together, like a trip budget or a step challenge. A room is a conversation with its own purpose and memory, for one person, two or a whole group. Every shared app comes with a room, so the talking and the tracking stay together.
Can a room be anything?
Pretty much. Every room has its own Marci with a purpose and personality you write, like a tough-love running coach or a calm trip planner. It remembers the room, draws only on what each person chose to share there, and uses that to keep things moving.
Do my friends need Marci too?
Yes. Marci is personal and social, so anything you do together, like a shared app or a room, needs your friends on Marci too. Invite them straight from the app. Once they're in, each person decides, room by room, which parts of their own life Marci may use there.
What does Marci do with my data?
Your data is encrypted per person, never used to train models and never sold. Vault apps are sealed from every AI surface, Marci included, and deleting your account shreds your keys.
How long does it take to build an app?
About ten minutes. Building happens in the background, so you can leave the chat and come back when it is ready.
